Seventh Carnival of Fraud
We’re back in the saddle again, and lucky for us, fraud continues to thrive. This leaves us plenty of material on which to blog!
I see a theme developing this week, and it is Fraud in Government and Non-Profits…
- This post at The Non-Profit Consultant Blog examines how burnout of non-profit employees may play a part in fraud at their organizations.
- Patrick at Badger Blogger schools everyone on protecting the ballot box from fraud.
- In the Milwaukee Public Museum scandal, the District Attorney’s office has finally brought charges against one of the parties responsible for raiding the organization’s endowment fund.
- Texas Hold ‘Em Blogger highlights yet another pickle for Wisconsin’s governor, who just happens to be running for re-election.
- The non-profit sector is growing rapidly, and some suggest that the media is not covering fraud in this sector thoroughly enough.
- Have you ever considered that a significant change to the U.S. Tax Code might reduce fraud?
- Here’s a post that mentions how cutting taxes can actually increase tax collections!
Send your entry for next week’s Carnival of Fraud here!

Tracy,
I wanted to personally thank you for your link to my blog, The Liberty Sphere, when you wrote of proposals to overhaul the U.S. tax code. The link to your website is now in the comments section of that particular article on my blog. Feel free to send links anytime if you have comments appropriate to the purpose for my website.
And thank-you for the apparent good work you do in calling attention to fraud in our society!
Sincerely.
D. Martyn Lloyd-Morgan
