Seventh Carnival of Fraud

We’re back in the saddle again, and lucky for us, fraud continues to thrive. This leaves us plenty of material on which to blog!

I see a theme developing this week, and it is Fraud in Government and Non-Profits…

• Patrick at Badger Blogger schools everyone on protecting the ballot box from fraud.
• In the Milwaukee Public Museum scandal, the District Attorney’s office has finally brought charges against one of the parties responsible for raiding the organization’s endowment fund.
• Texas Hold ‘Em Blogger highlights yet another pickle for Wisconsin’s governor, who just happens to be running for re-election.
• The non-profit sector is growing rapidly, and some suggest that the media is not covering fraud in this sector thoroughly enough.
• Have you ever considered that a significant change to the U.S. Tax Code might reduce fraud?
• Here’s a post that mentions how cutting taxes can actually increase tax collections!
