Barry Manilow hates Elisabeth Hasselbeck

Posted on September 18th, 2007

Barry Manilow was supposed to be on The View today. He was scheduled to be interviewed by Elisabeth Hasselbeck. He refused to do it. Barry said he’d be on stage with any of the other co-hosts, just not Elisabeth. He said:

Unfortunately, the show was not willing to accommodate this simple request, so I bowed out. It’s really too bad because I’ve always been a big supporter of the show, but I cannot compromise my beliefs.

Manilow also said:

I think she’s dangerous and offensive. I will not be on the same stage as her.

Well I think Elisabeth is fantastic! Get a grip Barry!

Barry Manilow is an evil person. I strongly disagree with Elisabeth Hasselbeck on many issues, however to refuse to even have a discussion runs counter to the very essence of an open, democratic society. His move is petulant, juvenile, and corrosive to the discussion of any sensitive issue.
