It wasn't designed for banks to use the money to buy other banks either, BUT THAT'S WHAT PAULSON HAS ALLOWED TO HAPPEN. I guess the bailout bill was really designed for "whatever Paulson wants at the moment." I never did understand what was written in the bill that was passed and I know you had trouble with it too Tracy. Hello! The money was approved to buy troubled assets to take them off bank's books, not to invest in them. Oh right, you won't appologize for changing the purpose of those funds after the "facts and circumstances changed". This entire bail out business smells.
