SOHObiztube.com… Like LinkedIn on Steroids
Have you heard of Sohobiztube.com? Maybe not, but you will be hearing a lot about it in the coming months. It’s a social networking site that is focused on business-to-business connections. It’s kind of liked LinkedIn, only much, much better.
How is it different? Your company has its own profile, and you (the employee) have a profile linked to the company. The focus is on creating opportunities between businesses.Other cool features of Sohobiztube.com are the ability to upload videos and podcasts. You have several ways to promote your business. The site also interacts with Twitter, so you can make updates which can go to both sites at the same time.
The site also has a cadre of experts blogging about topics important to small and growing businesses. The bloggers are true experts – - hand picked by the woman behind the site, Cd Vann. BlogTak Radio features more experts and opinions on a variety of topics.
The site is almost too good to be true, and I’ve been spending the last few days exploring. You can sign up for a free account at Sohobiztube.com, and if you like it, you can upgrade to a paid account that offers extra features. (The paid accounts are more than worth the money!)
You’re also invited to attend the site’s official Launch Party at the IronHorse Hotel on February 6, 2009. Check out this page for details and to register for this free event.

On your referral I checked out SoHo. I was alarmed to see that a schedule of their fees is nowhere to be found. This is just plain bad business. I should not need to join their site to be able to see their fees.
A new age has dawned. Sites that aren’t fully transparent with regards to fees BEFORE joining for free (the equivalent of hooking), will fall by the wayside as netizens are becoming more savvy exponentially.
There’s no need for alarm. You get a fully functional account FOR FREE. If you want to do additional things like upload promotional videos or press releases, those require the paid account. There’s really no hooking involved and nothing to be afraid of.
If there is no hooking, then Sohobiztube fees should be easy to find BEFORE one must join to get the information.
Can you post their fees here?
And if you know anyone at Soho, I hope you will relay my comments to them. I’ve sent them 2 emails via their contact page and have yet to receive a reply.
