Considering that most SEC officials couldn't find their ass with four hands and a flashlight, I don't think any endoresment they may (allegedly) give carries a lot of weight.

Anyone who would take an NFL player's advice about lawyers and investing in Pre-Paid Legal has problems. No, Barry Minkow did not get advice from a Pre-Paid Legal member. And where would one find this SEC document you mention? Curious you don't provide a link. Maybe because it doesn't exist?

This is so full of horse stuff.

I found a review of the business model that PrePaid Legal uses and the review was done by the SEC and a renowned third party (the name of which escapes me) who has been publicized about for restructuring billion dollar companies who said there is nothing wrong with the business structure. That the payment plans are perfect and the services are fine.

The State of Oklahoma reviewed PrePaid and concluded it was a viable company not endorsing any one legal firm.

There are several ex-State Attorney Generals that have given endosements during several documentaries on CourtTV (TruTv) for PrePaid Legal Services Inc. Even a Hall of fame NFL Player.

The Bar Association has given positive remarks about PrePaid Legal and how it allows access to the Middle and Lower Class.

Most people feel that they would rather be abused and robbed then to hire a Attorney to write a Will, or keep moving violations from added points to ones driving history. Divorce, immagrations issues, or really any legal matters where normally instead receiving a free service, lawyers charge 300.00 and up to let you know you do not have a case or review a contract BEFORE signing it to make sure your rights are protected.

I like those services being that I am not a Millionaire.

I read some where that there are Billionaires that bought a membership because the services are better then what they could buy if they owned an entire legal Firm.

I think he was on the wrong end of a PrePaid Memebers legal advice and he is working payback from what he is writing about half truths.
