It won't make a difference because you want to reduce your total interest payments as quickly as possible to avoid compound interest. But, it might make your presentation a clearer victory. So using my method above, the card with the lower interest rate had a minimum payment due of $100. We paid the $100, and then had $500 left over to pay toward the other card with the higher interest rate.
