It looks like the apple doesn’t fall very far from the tree. Daddy bought Jennie a car and in the process may have committed both insurance and bankruptcy fraud.

Looks like Jennifer’s father had been helping them deceive the bankruptcy court. Looks more and more like the Yukon accident was no accident.

What about the IRS? Don’t they owe a huge amount of money to the IRS? How are they able to travel to Dubai when there is so much owed to the government. I thought passports were frozen at a certain point. Will the IRS come after them?

Yes, the judge will have to approve the settlement. But I doubt that writing a letter will help. I think the trustee has done the best he can, and he thinks this makes the most sense. The judge is likely to go along with it.

The wedding ring WAS exempt because it was below the value allowed to be claimed as exempt, and was disclosed in the filing.

Just curious, but doesn’t the judge have a say in whether or not the settlement reached between the Trustee and the Mckinneys is valid? Would it be at all helpful to people who aren’t the Mckinneys to write a letter to the judge and explain that Trustee is turning a blind eye to over $100k in income that wasn’t reported? That she is posing with her wedding ring that wasn’t exempted? That she lied under oath? Or is it a done deal and we should all hope she is the exception instead of the rule when it comes to bankruptcy?
