(Or Isagenix, or Herbalife, or Take Shape For Life, or Visalus, or Any Multi-Level Marketing Company)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Several months ago I wrote an article on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sequenceinc.com\/fraudfiles\/2013\/02\/xyngular-starve-binge-purge-repeat\/\">Xyngular weight loss program being pimped by Jennifer McKinney<\/a> (aka mommy blogger <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sequenceinc.com\/fraudfiles\/2012\/05\/jennifer-mckinney-mckmama-bankruptcy-fraud-alleged-by-trustee\/\">MckMama<\/a>).\u00a0 The bottom line for me was that these programs do not work because:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They create short-term weight loss through a dizzying cycle of starvation, unhealthy meal replacement shakes, and questionable drug-like &#8220;supplements&#8221; that are supposed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sequenceinc.com\/fraudfiles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/xyngular-high-as-a-kite-mckmama.png\">get you high<\/a> and suppress your appetite<\/li>\n<li>The representatives make repeated <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2012\/oct\/3\/many-health-supplement-claims-misleading-illegal\/?page=all\">health claims are strictly prohibited by the federal government.<\/a> The distributors claim that the products <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sequenceinc.com\/fraudfiles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/xygunlar-health-claims-mckinney.jpg\">cure anything and everything<\/a> from joint pain, to autism, to diabetes, and more.<\/li>\n<li>Xyngular (and Herbalife, Medifast, Take Shape For Life, Visalus, Isagenix, and the rest of them) have poor long-term results because they are<a href=\"http:\/\/www.webmd.com\/diet\/features\/why-do-we-keep-falling-for-fad-diets\"> fad diets<\/a> that rely on starvation and potentially unsafe substances. The vast majority who lose weight with these programs gain it all back.<!--more--><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For months, Jennifer McKinney has been boasting that she lost &#8220;80 pounds&#8221;!!! But the reality is entirely different. She did lose weight initially,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sequenceinc.com\/fraudfiles\/2013\/02\/xyngular-starve-binge-purge-repeat\/\"> but her weight went up and down like a yo-yo<\/a>. She got as low as about 171 pounds, which *might* be evidenced with the picture on the left from March 2013:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sequenceinc.com\/fraudfiles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/mckmama-weight-loss-reality.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload aligncenter size-full wp-image-11781\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sequenceinc.com\/fraudfiles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/mckmama-weight-loss-reality.png\" data-orig-src=\"https:\/\/www.sequenceinc.com\/fraudfiles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/mckmama-weight-loss-reality.png\" alt=\"mckmama-weight-loss-reality\" width=\"346\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%27%20width%3D%27346%27%20height%3D%27400%27%20viewBox%3D%270%200%20346%20400%27%3E%3Crect%20width%3D%27346%27%20height%3D%27400%27%20fill-opacity%3D%220%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sequenceinc.com\/fraudfiles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/mckmama-weight-loss-reality-259x300.png 259w, https:\/\/www.sequenceinc.com\/fraudfiles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/mckmama-weight-loss-reality.png 346w\" data-sizes=\"auto\" data-orig-sizes=\"(max-width: 346px) 100vw, 346px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, it appears that the picture on the left was altered with Photoshop, while the picture on the right (July 2013) is unaltered.\u00a0 Either Jennifer McKinney was never as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sequenceinc.com\/fraudfiles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/sorry-you-cant-handle-that.jpg\">&#8220;thin&#8221; as she claimed<\/a>, or she has gained most of her weight back.<\/p>\n<p>What does this tell us? It is proof positive that the Xyngular system does not work. It is a fad diet that helps with temporary weight loss, and then the users gain back all of their weight.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE:<\/strong> In May 2014, it is clear that Jennifer has gained back all of her weight, but she is still touting her big &#8220;weight loss&#8221; as she tries to recruit people into Xyngular. She rarely posts pictures of herself anymore, and when she does, she is hiding behind others to conceal the truth.
