Although he uses quite a bit of humor in his presentation, his analysis of MLM is spot on. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sequenceinc.com\/fraudfiles\/2015\/01\/why-multi-level-marketing-companies-are-pyramid-schemes\/\">Multi-level marketing companies are pyramid schemes<\/a>, plain and simple. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sequenceinc.com\/fraudfiles\/2015\/03\/multi-level-marketing-is-not-a-business-its-a-pyramid-scheme\/\">MLM is not a business<\/a>. It doesn&#8217;t matter what product you&#8217;re trying to sell, the whole set-up is a fraud in which <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pinktruth.com\/mary-kay-facts\/myth-of-mlm-income-opportunity-99-lose-money-in-mlm\/\">99% of participants lose money<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The full episode is shown below, and is well worth the time spent watching. John Oliver mentions companies like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pinktruth.com\">Mary Kay<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sequenceinc.com\/fraudfiles\/tag\/herbalife\/\">Herbalife<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/ethanvanderbuilt.com\/2015\/10\/06\/market-america-scam-yes-opinion\/\">Market America (Shop.com)<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lazymanandmoney.com\/jeunesse-scam\/\">Jeunesse<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lazymanandmoney.com\/youngevity-scam\/\">Youngevi<\/a>.
