The simple truth is that I have been swamped with work, and for that I am thankful. Not everyone in my industry is doing so well. Fraud investigation and contract litigation are &#8220;extras&#8221; that not every company can afford these days. I&#8217;ve had the good fortune of developing good relationships with attorneys who refer cases to me, and so I&#8217;ve had a steady stream of new work.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m going to work hard to find the time to write several times a week like I have for more than three years. There&#8217;s no way I&#8217;m letting this blog die!<\/p>\n<p>While I gather my thoughts and find something profound to write about, please take a look at a few stories friends of mine are blogging about lately:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gary Weiss suggests a <a href=\"http:\/\/garyweiss.blogspot.com\/2009\/06\/why-not-confine-bernie-madoff-to.html\">permanent bed at a supermax prison<\/a> would be a great place for Bernie Madoff<\/li>\n<li>Sam Antar lets the cat out of the bag on <a href=\"http:\/\/whitecollarfraud.blogspot.com\/2009\/07\/banned-stock-promoter-carl-caserta.html\">banned stock promoter Carl Caserta<\/a> and his work with Interoil (NYSE:IOC)<\/li>\n<li>Joe Taxpayer has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.joetaxpayer.com\/archives\/1553\">a simple illustration of the &#8220;debt snowball&#8221;<\/a> and the two different methods of paying down debt: paying debts with highest interest rates first, or paying smallest debts first.<\/li>\n<li>The real danger behind Card Check: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/columns\/OpEd-Contributor\/Government-forced-contracts-are-Card-Check_s-real-threat-7905737-49532997.html\">the government will decide<\/a> how much businesses must pay workers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And no, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.copyblogger.com\/blogging-is-dead-again\/\">blogging still is not dead<\/a>.
